SNAP OUT OF IT!!!!! Feel free to print this out and give it to someone who's feeling down right now... Speaking of "finding your center..." Sounds like you need a little lifting up my friend! SNAP OUT OF IT! Remember people will ALWAYS let you down. Lower, if not "zero-out" your expectations, and you'll never be disappointed. Here is an AWESOME email that was sent to me just YESTERDAY. I believe God meant it for you.
Does this verse say something significant about God's perfect will for our lives? The next time someone says they would like to find God's perfect will for their lives and that they want to be in the center of His will, just send them to the center of His Word! Psalms 118:8 (NKJV) -- "It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man." Now isn't that odd how this worked out (or was God in the center of it)? "Father God bless my friend in whatever it is that you know he/she may be needing this day! And may his/her life be full of your peace, prosperity and power as he/she seeks to have a closer relationship with You. Amen" ________________________________________________________ When I received this, I printed the above message out, and placed a copy of it in the center of my Bible. Read Genesis 6:6. God was so disappointed in the human race - as I am (and you are) as well. He was even pissed off at Moses and David! God has basically turned His back on the Jews for the past 2000 years. Humans just kept (and keep on) messing everything up for themselves. What if everything we owned burned in a fire, and we had to start all over again? All our stuff, clothes, pictures, dishes, favorite shirts ... everything ... gone. Then, we "woke up" - and realized it was just a dream? Sometimes we forget to be happy with what we have. I get caught up in "want" from watching too much TV and reading too many magazines. I am learning slowly to want for nothing, and not try to "keep up with the Jones'. It's easier (and cheaper) that way. Have you ever gone to http://www.thegospel.org/Pages/JVIM.asp ? Listen to that man's messages on prophesy. It's excellent when you compare the Bible to current events. Studying Bible prophecy is like watching CNN... I can't wait to find out what happens in the end!!! Work with people who can't walk, are deaf, or blind, or starving. Keep the Faith strong in your heart. When things get tough, always remember...Faith doesn't get you around trouble, it gets you through it!! Get the best out of life - don't let life get the best out of you my friend. Now go fill that bucket of ice water...
