4/9/99-
I landed in Atlanta a few hours ago. We went to the Sundial Restaurant with Lory and Dan Wilson who teach Mambo at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center on Wednesday nights, and the Sanctuary nightclub on Friday
nights. Afterward, we went to a new club called "Plush". It was Latin night, and I met the DJ, Fernando Fernandez. I asked if he wouldn't mind playing a few Slamming Salsas, and he more than agreed. I gave him a few suggestions, and we JAMMED the night away to Hector Lavoe, Eddie Palmieri, Franki Ruiz, Oscar De Leon, and others. I just wanted to take this time to say, THANK YOU to Fernando for making my first night in Atlanta the BEST EVER!!! Looking forward to hearing you JAM again!
