You may or may not remember me but I 1st met you at the Sanctuary last year when you came down to do a workshop and then with Dan and Lory and finally at your DC birthday party and Salsaweb convention. Let me say that from the day I met you I was always impressed with how down to earth you are and truly motivational to Salsa lovers--all levels, ages, races etc.. I started reading your articles and found that you also seem to be a very grounded and spiritual person--so, why all this preface? 1st-After Dan and Lory have taken over the web page they have done an excellent job staying current with it. There were some people that were concerned about how they may bias the web towards NY2 but they have been very objective in their management of the web page. These 2 have huge classes, a large following and have made significant improvements in the dance levels of students here. I, for one, am complimented almost each and every time I dance---and I have only had 1/2 dozen lesson with Alfredo.

And, finally, like you, Edie, these 2 are very down to earth simple people who do not have airs. Alfredo could cop an attitude with his talent but he dances with EVERYONE at the club and makes them feel special. It is tangible, visible and so exciting to see what has happened since they have arrived---your next visit promises to be an exciting one and you'll see the difference. Personally, these 2 have changed my life--because the positive motivation Alfredo gives me with my dance has carried over to other parts of my life--the word NO doesn't exist--if one wants to do it---Alfredo says sure lets do it! :)
3rd-In addition to LA style, Dan and Lory have single - handedly been trying to promote the NY2. I think its commendable that they have made the efforts they have. (Dan got me to do it when I HATED it at the beginning) Although it has been tough, esp here in Order Cialis Usa, Buy Cialis Australia ^ Online Reviews, they have managed to perk interest in a dozen or so students. They have brought down Nelson Flores and Maribel Maldonado who are another couple that's down to earth and just lovely in addition to being talented dancers. But Edie, they are awesome teachers. They of course cannot have the impact that Alfredo/Randi have had as they can only visit from time to time but when they are here--they perk up the interest in NY2. Nelson is another one that talks and dances with EVERYONE who has an interest in Salsa. He too could have an air or attitude but he sincerely cares about promoting Salsa.
Edie, I realize this email is one of hundreds you receive and it may not be particularly interesting but I have felt compelled to write you about all this for some time. Finally, I assist Dan and Lory with club and concert reviews and other articles of interest. I have been asked by many Salseros to write about 1) personal hygiene 2) dj's mixing cd's properly 3) latin dance etiquette 4)club owners catering more to and making Salsa dancers feel important and finally, a subject that I KNOW you have addressed--1 vs. 2--mainly because much of the exposure some folks have had is 1 dancers open to NY2 but not the other way around--we have seen people like Nelson Flores who are really open and then others who are not--personally,most of these folks feel one should just enjoy Salsa --period. In any case, if you have articles that I could point people to vs. me writing about these topics--could you let me know?
