Well, the phone started ringing OFF THE HOOK AT 5:00PM. I turned on my computer and ICQ started honking at me with people all over the place waiting for the grand opening!!!
			Mike Bello, the Mambo Fello arrived unshaven, and sick... he drove "ALL DA WAY 'ova heeya jus fa dis...." (can you tell he's from NEW YAWK????)	Little Princess arrived first with a little tiara (diamond-studded crown) on her head. It was fabulous and so appropriate!
The King and Princess meet for the first time... What is Extraordinary, is that King Don Fiti, a.k.a, "Lord of the Board" and Little Princess HAd NEVER MET BEFORE!!! They FINALLY saw what each other looked like at Salsaweb World Headquarters during the event, after literally MONTHS of chatting and romancing...in the Chattingham Kingdom!!		We've got Muriel and Stephen from the Island of Curacao online... chatting away on ICQ... Angel Ortiz joined us on ICQ Live, from New York,		Manny the Stuntman from Manhattan is now online... also chatting away on ICQ... Darling Roger, from Brazil... showed up on ICQ!
We'll be uploading pictures... now... other guests of the Loyal Kingdom have arrived one - by - one at Salsaweb's World Headquarters... . including the Dutchess, accompanied by the beautiful and gracious Josui Well, The Chatboard didn't work the first go-around... we'll wait & see what happens..... The programmers just made it to their office. They're working on it right now... FINALLY!!!! Everybody is still here...				King Fiti is hilarious! He impersonates Angelo, Albert, Edie (yes, that's right, he impersonates ME!), Robert, and other Salseros around town... Li'l Princess taking stills of me taking stills... in her not-so-still wild cheetah shirt... CRAZINESS!!!
We've got folks on ICQ... including a request to access Tito Puente...! We hope he calls in! Now, the King is doing Albert Torres Salsa Dancing impersonations.. .. We're ALL DYING LAUGHING!!!	Oh my Gosh, Little One and the King are now dancing to Tito! The king keeps impersonating Albert.... He is cracking us up...			Hey,... the programmers just CALLED ME BACK!!!!! YEA!!! They're working on it as we TYPE....

"Teach me some shines Mike!" Mike is now teaching Janette first the side crossover hop step, then the kick pivot, then a pivot triple. Actually, before that they did the side-to-side cross over with the hop step... Janette picks up everything so quickly - it's amazing.

History of the Chatboard, How it Became the "Kingdom of Chattingham"?

This is actually pretty funny. Among all the chit chatters, gossip, arguments about the "2" and the "1", love stories, romances, fights, bickers, and quarrels, there is an underlying Kingdom. The conversations evolved into a Virtual Kingdom that was created by a few of the frequent visitors to the old Chatboard.

Around September 1997, there was an argument going on between a woman called "L'il One" and another person who named himself "LA Salsero". A person who named himself "Don Fiti" was reading what they were saying, and started sticking up for her in various posts. In one of her responses, L'il One thanked him for coming to her rescue. Because of the rescue incident, she started calling herself "L'il Princess, damsel in distress", and someone - we're not sure who, called Mr. Don Fiti, some sort of "Who died, and made you King....?" remark.

Since then, the King has knighted a Duke (Javier Maceo) and Dutchess (Janette Valenzuela), and a few Loyal (and not so-Loyal) Subjects. Then there's LA Salsero, aka Club Watcher, who is the court jester, but claims to really be a Prince... if someone would just believe him.... and the rest is history... The Official Christening and Inauguration:
You are all welcome to come ova' to Salsaweb's World Headquarters in Los Angeles, California for the official "christening" and "inauguration" of the new Chatboard, a.k.a. Kingdom of Chattingham, on Monday night (tomorrow, the 12th of January) between the hours of 7 and 10. Pizza, drinks, and WHAT 'EVA... will be served...

I will be hosting the celebration LIVE on the FREAK page, with electronic inputs from everyone during the event. If you are out-of-state, you can access us via email and ICQ cyber orgy for the event. Once the chatboard is opened, you can all join in on the chats. This should be pretty interesting. I don't really think this has ever happened before... in the history of the world..

To celebrate the New Year, the official "christening" of Salsaweb's New World Famous Chatboard (aka "The Chattingham Kingdom") will take place this Monday night, January 12th, at Salsaweb's World Headquarters. The christening will kick off the celebration of ...
