Description Cool Moves "Revealed" Volume II is the brainchild of Eric Freeman and Edie, The Salsa FREAK. In her first video,
Cool Moves, Volume I, Edie simply put together an ensemble of various shows, practice sessions, and nightclub scenes taken with several of her partners. Each flaunted a different style and added flavor to the dance. Cool Moves, Volume I, also demonstrated the agonizing hours and hours of practice it took her to become the dancer she is today. It allowed the student to see different stages of her development and how it was not always easy "getting there". This is so important to students who would like to reach and set a higher level of dance. In Volume II, Cool Moves "Revealed" highlights the moves danced by her partner in Boulder, Colorado, Eric Freeman. Eric, "The Diamond in the Rough of Colorado" is an exceptionally talented dancer who not only can dance on the "two", (both styles), but the "one", the "three", and the "four". Eric, a graduate of Berkley with a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, has traveled to Cuba seven times, recording and picking up new dance moves and styles. Eric has also taken classes in the United States with Masters like Eddie Torres of New York, and Luis Vazquez, of California, and is currently Salsaweb's World Cityguides Correspondent for both Cuba, and Colorado. Over the course of four years, Eric has compiled and documented a list of over 1,500 Salsa/Mambo dance moves, completely documented and written in his computer notes. Whenever Eric learns a new move, he documents it by describing each move in his own written dance language in complete detail. Cool Moves "Revealed" lists the first sixty of his 1,500 documented dance moves. His move list is so extensive and detailed, we were thinking of submitting it to the library of Congress! Below are the first sixty moves from Cool Moves "Revealed", explained in complete detail, for you to reference and practice while viewing the instructional video.
