We're Looking for Writers! Here are a few ideas...

If you would like to write an article or two for Salsaweb Magazine, Please submit your articles in the following format:

  • Subject Matter must pertain to Salsa/Mambo, For example, the music itself, the dance, what happens in the scene, history, heritage, future, events, interviews, Salsa recipes, stories, humor, advice, etc...
  • Send in an email as an attachment. MS Word or Word Perfect - IBM PC format is preferred. If you have a Mac, then we need for the name of the file to be in 8.3 format, meaning named "article.doc". It MUST have the ".doc" after the 8-character name. If not, we found we can't open the file...
  • Comic Sans Font, Regular 10-point must be used. If you don't have the Comic Sans Font, just let us know.
  • Articles can be as long, or as short as you want - we don't care!
  • All articles are to be pre-approved by our staff prior to posting
  • Article must be spell-checked and proofed prior to submitting to us. If we find tons of misspellings, we'll send it back to you to give you a chance to correct your error and grammer challenges. It's best to have someone else review your material prior to sending it to us.
  • Any pictures you send us must be no lorger than 20k in size, and no larger than 3 X 3 inches large.
  • You must allow us to use your name and email address at the end of your article.
  • You must provide us your telephone number.
